Up for sale a very rare blue 1989 Toyota Van. Ready to hit the road. 2wd. One tidbit of information about these vans that many people are unaware of, the middle captains chairs swivel and the backs of these captains chairs will lay down completely flat. When you are up in the mountains, rather than pull the seats out of the van you can lay the middle one down flat and put a full size air mattress spanning across the middle seat and back seats. It fits perfectly. I have done this many times up in the mountains here in the NW. No need to remove the seats like many people do. These vans get in the low 20's for gas mileage. They have good power, good passing power, and going up hills and maintaining speed is no issue, even with a full cargo and 7 passengers. I have additional parts like the wiring and repair manuals, and an original toyota stereo and eq unit. I also have a Thule cargo top carrier that is included. (The last photo is a picture of the van at the base of Mt. Rainier during a recent camping trip.)
This one has 264k miles. I have driven this one alot, runs great, very reliable. It has been all over the PNW. The power steeling pulley has fallen off and will need replaced if you want power steering. Van runs fine without and isn't difficult to drive without it either. AC does not work, needs charged. Heat works great. Van has a roof rack installed, and a Thule cargo top box that I have on it that goes with the van. This van also has the middle matching bench seat. If you look at the photo of the rear seat, you can see it stored behind the rear seat in the rear cargo area of van. With this additional seat, depending on the number of passengers, you could either leave in the middle single captain chair and haul up to 6 people, or you could pull it out and install the middle bench seat and haul 7 people. $1950. Credit Card accepted
